I grew up in England, and from as young as I can remember I was always encouraged creatively. I received my first set of oils for my 12th birthday, needless to say the “drying” time was the first of many lessons. I studied fine art in Cape Town, South Africa and I began to use reflection in most of my work, it has become a poignant theme both introspectively and visually for me as an artist. In 2014 I moved to live in Santa Barbara, California where I started to explore life drawing and the female form. I now live in New York City, where I’m constantly challenged and inspired. My paintings have gained layers which I could have only found through my experiences in New York. I’m working on some exciting projects at the moment and look forward to sharing them in the near future.
